Golf group management

Four ways to run your game

Every group needs a leader who makes the tee times — that never changes. Tangent handles what comes after: requests, approvals, the waitlist, the notifications. Read across a row to compare — green boxes are work the site does automatically.

The way it is now — and always has beenThe ClassicYou don’t need to change a thing. Emails, group texts, a phone call or two — however your group has always done it, it keeps working.
Option 1The CaddieNothing really changes. CC corey@tangent.golf and Corey keeps everything updated for you — temporary assistance while your group settles in, until you take over. Settings: none.
Option 2The StarterThe site runs sign-ups like a course starter. Settings: Group emails ON · Sign-ups: your choice — approval or automatic
Option 3Game DayEverything The Starter does, plus the game. Settings: Group emails ON · Sign-ups: your choice · Game configured (auto-remembers your usual)

What Tangent brings to the table

It’s free

The site costs your group nothing — no fees, no subscription, no catch. Run it at any level, for as long as you like.

A tee sheet everyone can see

Available tee times, who’s in, the waitlist in order, the organizer’s own notes — on any phone or computer, any time. No group has ever had this.

No app required

Players never need the Tangent app to sign up, get emails, or see the sheet. But every player who does score in the free app brings the group closer to live scoring — their scores flow onto the day’s sheet automatically, as they play.

Games & bets, figured for you

Simple money games are rolling out now — quota, skins, closest to the pin, best ball — with the pot split and payouts figured to the dollar, and a printable scorecard for groups that keep it on paper.

No more reply-all complications

Every owner knows this one: a player means to answer you and hits Reply All — now the whole group is sorting out who’s actually in. On the site, “I can play” goes exactly one place: the sheet, and you. Nobody else’s inbox is involved.

Your group stays yours

Every group needs a leader making the tee times — that doesn’t change. The Owner and Admins keep final say on schedules, pairings, rosters, and format; Tangent just makes the requests, approvals, and notifications easy to manage.
